Stephen Hawley Martin was Strategic Plans Director of The Martin Agency during its meteoric rise from a small, local shop to a national firm that ADWEEK dubbed “The hottest ad agency in the United States.” He’s developed plans and implemented marketing communications programs for clients ranging in size and complexity from Kingsmill Resort to General Motors. Steve has written and edited more than a dozen books, including one on advertising, a best seller on product development, and a guide to lean management that has sold more than 100,000 copies and been translated into Italian, German, Spanish, and Chinese.
